Saraya & Mia Yim Returning to SHIMMER, New Flyer Artwork

Earlier this year, the mother and daughter “Knight Dynasty” duo of Sweet Saraya and Britani Knight made their American pro wrestling debuts as new additions to the SHIMMER roster. After being introduced to the Berwyn crowd by Rebecca Knox, the Knights quickly became one of the most talked about participants in the Vols. 37-40 weekend, due in large part to the unforgettably intimidating presence of 20 year ring veteran Saraya Knight.

Striking fear in not only her opponents, but also every other human being in the building, Saraya displayed to everyone at SHIMMER exactly why she has been such a dominant force throughout Europe for over two decades. On October 1st & 2nd, Saraya will bring the viciousness to SHIMMER once again. Consider this fair warning.

Mia Yim has spent a great deal of her time the past several months both training and wrestling in Japan for the REINA promotion. She has had the opportunity to step in the ring against some of the very best women in the industry during her time there, and will bring that added experience back to SHIMMER competition on October 1st & 2nd.

Earlier this year, Yim competed as part of the SHIMMER tag team division, alongside partner Jamilia Craft. On Vols. 41-44, Mia will test her skills within the SHIMMER singles ranks.

SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES returns to live action on Saturday & Sunday, October 1st & 2nd, 2011, at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. Bell time on Saturday, October 1st is 2pm. Bell time on Sunday, October 2nd is 1pm. Volumes 41-44 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed during the course of the weekend, with two full length DVD releases taped each day. The events are suitable for all ages.
